Nice, cheers! I can go with that! It's funny, isn't it, what different sounds do to different people. I could totally bliss out on the 'floor to these tunes too, but often I use them to drift off to sleep.

Lovely stuff - great mix!

Though I must say, not sure it would work as a lullaby! Reminded me more of being on a dance floor, when time no longer has a relevance, nobody else exists, all your senses are tingling, the world seems wonky and simple and nothing can break you out of the zone!

Just made me want to be dancing at 5am and submerged into my own world!

I know what you mean, theres something kind of urgent about the distortion isn't there? I think that's one of the things I love about this sound - it's so DIY and lofi but at the same time it sounds so - like you say - new!

Did you watch the YouTube clip? Obviously Konono No.1 do it properly and they sound amazing.

Yeah, like I say its been floating about the ol' MP3 player recently, plus my electronic influence is quite obvious, so thought I'd start with a blast from my musical past (which was decidedly non-electronic!)

It's only perfect to me, incidentally, I'm not saying it will be to anyone else. Listen to the album version if you have it, the live version linked above lacks some of the production I love.

Never picked up on the fact that this tune and Coffee & TV mention Coffee. And both are penned by Coxon! Obviously a 1 trick pony ;) I think he always sings it, yes.

Nice - interesting first choice for a perfect tune, not what I would have expected!

Forgot about that track - does Graham Coxon always sing it as I seem to remember another version! But then think i have heard it more at gigs than the recorded version!

It's a good track, think I will have to have a few more listens to see exactly why its perect.

On another note - they mention Coffee in lots of their songs don't they. Interesting!!!
